This is mass-produced, factory farmed fiction of the highest order but I'm not pretentious enough to act like I didn't enjoy it. It's easy to churn through on a relaxing vacation and this book is possibly the best Ballard and Bosch installment so far. I know there's another one that follows this, and I'll definitely be reading it.
