I wasn't expecting to enjoy the later books way more than the original trilogy.

I loved this one, it reminded me a bit of C.J. Sansom's work with Shardlake. Bit more like a mystery story with a cast of characters - and people working from the shadows.

Well written, decent twists, and a satisfying ending.
